How do I add a book manually to my Aspire reading list?

• Sign in to Aspire (How do I do that?)

• In your reading list, push your mouse down the list to see the line menus between each list item 

• Click Add Resource at the location you wish to add your book

Add Resource 

• offers you a search of book titles
• suggests items you have added previously to Aspire reading lists
• offers you the option to add items manually

• Click the Create manually

When manually adding a bookmark, the minimum information required is the resource type and the title 

• Use the Resource Type menu and select the appropriate resource e.g. for a DVD choose Audio-visual document
• Enter the relevant information into the Title field

Further information fields can be added from the Add field menu - if you can, please supply the Author, Date, Publisher and Place of Publication

• Highlight the required field (e.g. Publisher) and click Add:

• Enter information into each new field

When the form is complete

• Click Create & Add to List to immediately add your bookmark to an existing list (How do I do that?)

Or

• Click Create if you want to add a bookmark for later addition to a list (How do I do that?)
