What should I do if I receive a phishing or junk email?

If you receive a phishing or junk email to your Aberystwyth University account you can report it direct to Microsoft so phishing emails can automatically be blocked without IS staff intervention.

In Outlook

• From the ribbon at the top choose Report Message
• Select Phishing or Junk as appropriate
  
• Delete the message

 

In Webmail

• Right-click on the message
• Select Report then Report phishing or Report junk as appropriate
  

 

In Outlook for mobile

• Click the three dots next to the sender's name
  
• Click Report Message
  
• Select Report as phishing or Report as junk as appropriate
