Ive found the book I want in Primo - where is it in the library?

 

• First check where the book is, in the below example it is under Hugh Owen Short Loan Collection . Then make a note of the classmark. On the example below it is NC1479.G4.G5 Qto.

  

On each floor of the Libraries there is a floor plan outlining where books and journals are located. We have plans on line for Hugh Owen Library , Physical Science Library and Thomas Parry Library .

• You need to check the floor plan and then go to that area. We have a You Tube video showing how to find a book. If we use the above book as an example we need to check the level D floor plan.

  

• On this particular example we have a QTO book. These books are larger and are kept out of the main sequence of books on wider shelves. Please check the floor plans when looking for QTO or FOLIO books which are kept out of the main sequence. You can see below in this snap shot of the Level F plan of Hugh Owen where some of the Folio's and Quartos are kept.
