How do I email students who have not submitted an assignment? (Staff)

Staff can email students who have not submitted a Turnitin assignment at any time, even before the deadline and while anonymous marking is still enabled.

To do this:

  • Go to Control Panel > Course Tools > Turnitin Assignments.
  • Click on the desired Assignment.
  • Click the Email non-submitters link on the right-hand side.

  • Type the subject and content of your email.


  • Tick Include me if you wish to have a copy of the message sent to your inbox.
  • Click Send
