How do I read and print from a De Gruyter ebook I have found in Primo?
Read a De Gruyter E-book
- Sign in to Primo before conducting any search for Online Resources
- To read the e-book through your web browser, select the chapter you would like to read and click the Download PDF button in the chapter title box
To Download a Chapter
- When viewing the PDF of the chapter you have selected, to save to your computer, either right click on the e-book and select Save as... and select a location to save the document, or click on the Download button in the top right corner of the page and save to your computer
Printing a De Gruyter E-book Chapter
- To print a chapter, first select the chapter you would like to print using the above instructions
- A new tab should open displaying a PDF of the chapter you have selected; either right click on the e-book and select Print... or click on the Print button in the top right corner of the page
Advice on Off-Campus Access for De Gruyter E-books
- Click on the Log in link on the top right of the page
- Click Connect via institution
- Select Aberystwyth University from the drop down list and click Go to Login
- You will be prompted for your Aber username and password via Shibboleth
- Alternatively, you can set up a VPN which bypasses the need to sign in. More information can be found here.
