How do I access Blackboard from home?
Go to https://blackboard.aber.ac.uk/
Note: You can log into Blackboard from any computer with an Internet connection.
To access Blackboard you need:
- A computer connected to the Internet (inside or outside of the University).
- a current web browser with Javascript enabled. How can I make sure my browser is compatible with Blackboard?
- An Aberystwyth University username and password.
If you experience any problems when trying to access Blackboard please see our troubleshooting page.
Students please note: if you experience problems with Blackboard on your own computer, please try using a computer in one of the University computer rooms (Where are they?) until the problem is sorted out.
Note: If accessing Blackboard via a modem or 3g dongle, it will not work as fast as the public workstations on campus. If you have a problem when trying to download large files over a modem, ask your tutor to check that the files are of a reasonable size.
