How do I grade the discussion board in my Blackboard module? (Staff)

Blackboard offers two features that help facilitate assessment and peer learning through the use of discussion boards. You can choose to assess students based on either their performance in selected threads or in selected forums. Any forum or thread for which you enable grading will automatically be added to the Grade Centre.

You can also allow students to rate each other's posts. These two features may be used in conjunction or separately. For instance, it may be useful to see the students' peer rating of posts when you grade a thread or forum.
