What is an Android Work profile?

A work profile allows you to separate your work apps, data and use of the device from your personal apps, data and use of the device:

This allows you to access University resources from your device, in compliance with the Bring your own device policy and retain privacy over your personal apps, data and usage.

The work profile is managed by the University and has its own version of the Play store where you can install work related apps. These appear with a briefcase icon so you know they are work apps. If you have an app in your personal profile you will need to install it again in the work profile
