How do I switch off the download feature for Panopto recordings? (Staff)

Note: The download feature for Panopto recordings can be switched off. However, as this feature is only available at folder level, all recordings in a module folder are either downloadable, or non-downloadable.

Switch off the download feature for Panopto recordings

Go to https://panopto.aber.ac.uk

Sign In using your AU username and password.

Click on Browse and My Folders see all your folders

Select:

• the module folder you wish to apply changes to by clicking on it. All of the recordings for that folder will appear in the main window.

• the cog icon.

• Click on Settings
• In the Download enabled dropdown select No one

Students will no longer be able to download Panopto recordings stored in this module folder.
