How do I map a network drive/connect to my personal filestore (M drive)? (Mac)

To connect to your filestore, your computer must be connected to the University Network ( How do I do that?).

• Open Finder then click Go
• Select Connect to Server
  
  
• In the Server Address box enter smb://smb1.aber.ac.uk/abc1 where abc1 is your University username
• Click the + icon next to the Server Address box so you don't have to remember this each time
  
• Click Connect
• If it asks for authentication enter your University username and password
  
  
• Click Connect
