How do I add a book using the Add Resource button to my Aspire reading list?

• Sign in to Aspire (How do I do that?)

• In your reading list, push your mouse down the list to see the line menus between each list item 

• Click Add Resource at the location you wish to add your book

Add Resource 

• offers you a search of book titles
• suggests items you have added previously to Aspire reading lists
• offers you the option to add items manually

To add a book to your reading list from the book title search

• Add the title, author etc. and search

From the search results displayed

• Click the title you want to add to see
  • the different editions available
  • whether the Library holds a copy or not
• Click the blue plus button to add the edition you want to your Aspire reading list select the edition you want

• Refresh the reading list page to see the book you've added
• Add the importance Essential / Further reading (How and why do I do that?)
• Republish your list by clicking the black Publish button to the right above your reading list
