How do I set permissions for a Panopto recording? (Staff)

To set permissions on individual recordings login into Panopto, or, https://aberystwyth.cloud.panopto.eu, with Sign in with Blackboard using your AU username and password, and select:

• Manage Recordings (on the bar at the top of the screen)

• Manage My Recordings
  
• Find the folder (there should be a list of folders down the left-hand side of the screen) and recording and hover your cursor under the file name to see the available options:
  

• Select Share
  
  

• Press Change to select the option you wish to use. See this article on the Panopto Support pages for more information. 
  

• Copy the link/embed code to circulate the recording
  
  

Note: Recordings also inherit the permissions from the folder they sit in.  See faq 2261 for further information.
