Why aren't my CMS changes live on the University website yet?
If your changes are not live, it is probably because a step in the process of going live has not been completed.
- First, check if your content has been approved. If you are a Moderator level user you can approve your own content. If you are a Contributor level user you will need to ask a Moderator to approve your changes.
- If your content has already been approved, it may not yet have been published.
- The Publish from CMS to cmspreview occurs every hour, at 10 past the hour (e.g. 8:10am, 9:10am, 10:10am, 11:10am etc.).
- You can check your site on https://cmspreview.aber.ac.uk/en/ to see if your changes have been published.
- If your content has already been approved and published, it may not yet have been transferred.
- There are transfers from cmspreview to the live site at 9:30am, 11:30am, 2:30pm, 4:30pm
- If your content should be live according to the schedule, check that your browser hasn’t cached the old page, by clicking CTRL+F5
If your content is still not showing please contact Information Services.
If you have content that needs to be on the live site urgently, please contact Information Services and we can arrange to get this done as quickly as we can
