When will my University computer account close?

Students

• All currently registered Undergraduate and Postgraduate (Taught and Research) Students, including Distance Learning Students retain access to their email account only until graduation. All other access ends when you reach your course completion date.
  Library borrowing priviliges for final year undergraduates ends on 03 June 2023. 
• Exchange students, or those on short courses, who will not graduate from Aberystwyth University will retain access to their IT account and Library borrowing until the end of their student registration.
• Students who are about to complete their studies should follow the leaving checklist

Staff

• Staff accounts lock on the day after the contract ends.
• If your contract is due to be extended you should contact Human Resources to check
• Staff whose contract is about to end should follow the leaving checklist

Honorary/Emeritus/Visiting Staff

• Honorary/Emeritus/Visiting Staff accounts will have been authorised for a limited time period. It will lock the day after this period ends.
• If your association with the University continues you should contact Human Resources to extend your access
• Honorary/Emeritus/Visiting staff  about to end should follow the leaving procedure
