How do I create a new document library in SharePoint?

  • Click on the cog symbol at the top right of the screen and select Add an App
  • The Your Apps screen will appear:
  • Click on Document Library.
  • Type the name of your document library in the Name box (e.g. Suzy's Document Library)
  • Click the Create button.
  • Your document library will be created and listed in the Site Contents.
