How do I divert my VOIP phone to another number?

Important: If you divert your phone to an external/mobile the cost of the diverted calls will be charged to your department. You must seek your Head of Department's permission before setting this up.

From the phone:

  • On the handset click on the CFwdall button (you may have to click on More)
  • Type in the number you wish to divert to - if it is an external or mobile number you will need to add the prefix 9
  • To remove the forwarding just press the CFwdall button again

From elsewhere

  • You will need to be connected to the University network on campus or via VPN (How do I do that?)
  • Go to https:\\abercm01.aber.ac.uk\ccmuser
  • Log in with your AU username and password
  • Click on user options and choose Device
  • Click on Line Settings
  • Under Incoming call forwarding check the Forward all calls to option
  • Enter the number you wish to forward calls to in the This number box - if it is an external or mobile number you will need to add the prefix 9
  • Click on Save
  • To remove the forwarding please reverse this process
