I have forgotten the bitlocker password for my USB pen drive, what can I do?

Information Services can recover your BitLocker password if your USB drive was encrypted on a University PAU domain machine.

• Insert the USB drive that you have BitLocker encrypted into your PC.
• When prompted to enter the password to unlock the drive, click More Options then Enter Recovery Key
• Make a note of your Key ID - you will need to provide this to IS so we can recover the encryption password
• Contact Information Services (How do I do that?)

You will be required to change your BitLocker encryption password once you have regained access to your USB drive (How do I do that?).
