How do I change the bitlocker password on my USB drive?

You will need to know the current password used to encrypt your USB drive before you can set a new one.

If you cannot remember the password, the drive will need to be recovered (How do I do that?)

• Plug the USB drive that you want to unlock into your computer.
• Open Control Panel
• Click the View drop-down, and select Large Icons, or search for BitLocker in the top right search field.
• Click BitLocker Drive Encryption.
• Select the locked drive that you want to change the password for, and click Unlock Drive, and enter your password
• Click Change password.
• Once you have confirmed your new password, click Change password to save the changes.
