What cannot be digitised under the Copyright Licensing Agency's Higher Education (CLA HE) licence?

There are categories of published works not covered by the Copyright Licensing Agency's Higher Education (CLA HE) licence and include the following:

• printed music (including the words)
• maps and charts
• newspapers (however, copying is permitted under our Newspaper Licensing Agency (NLA) Licence)  
• workbooks, workcards or assignment sheets
• works specifically excluded by authors or publishers
