How do I log in to the loan stock laptops?

You should log in to the laptop on campus before you take it off campus.

Logging on while on campus

• From the login screen, click the the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom right of the screen
• Connect to eduroam with your AU email address and password
• When connected to eduroam, log in to the laptop using your AU username and password
• Once the laptop has finished logging in, your account is set up and it is ready to use

If the laptop is taken off campus before being set up:

You can set up the laptop with your University account by connecting to VPN at the login screen

Installing Software

Software supplied by the University can be installed by browsing the Company Portal shortcut on the desktop. We provide a selection of commonly used utilities as well as course specific software that is available to use on University computers

For software that isn't supplied by the University, please submit a request to add your software to the Company Portal.
