How do I create printing accounts for AIEC tenants?
- Login to https://myadmin.aber.ac.uk
- Choose ID Management (authorised users only)
- Choose Create Record from the left hand menu
- You will see a list of all existing EC records
- Click on Create on the right hand side
- Enter details as follows
- Ext Type: AIEC Tenant
- Forenames
- Surname
- Home email: (The user will only be able to email documents to print from this email address or scan to this email address)
- Level 4: ADO
- Start Date
- Soft end date:
- Hard end date: (should be the same as soft end date)
- Responsible: Input aiestaff - (all emails regarding account and password expiry will be sent to this address)
- Company name: Will be printed an ABer Card exactly as typed here
- Browse to choose and upload the photo to be printed on the Aber card
- Click Create
- Choose People from the left hand menu
- Click on the Search icon next to the record
- Check all the details are correct and choose Print Card
- Contact is@aber.ac.uk asking for the card to be printed and advising how the card will be collected
To check whether the account has been created (this can take up to 15 minutes):
- Login to https://reg.aber.ac.uk
- Search for the user
- The account is there and is active
- If the card has been printed you will see the card number under Aber Card
