How do I change the password for AIEC tenant accounts?

When the password is due to expire on an AIEC tenant account a notification email will be sent to aiestaff.

The password will need to be changed to stop the account from locking. If the account locks the user will not be able to print, copy or scan.

To reset the password:

  • Login to Reg (authorised users only)
  • Search for the user
  • Choose Set random password
  • Reset the password
  • You do not need to make a note of this or give to the user

If the account has already locked because the password has expired:

  • Login to Reg (authorised users only)
  • Search for the user
  • Choose Locks from the menu on the left
  • Choose Password expired
  • Add a comment and click Unlock Account
  • This will reset the password and unlock the account
  • You do not need to make a note of this or give to the user
