How do I add my shared mailbox to the Outlook app on my phone/tablet?

  • Open your Outlook app
  • Tap the menu button on the top left of the screen

  • Tap Add Account on the left side menu

  • Select Add a shared mailbox

  • If you have more than one personal account, e.g. both staff and student, select the account from which you access the shared mailbox. If you only have one personal account go to the next step.

  • Type in the email address of your shared mailbox (for example csistaff@aber.ac.uk)

    enter shared mailbox address

  • Your shared mailbox will appear below your personal account

    list of accounts
