I am visiting Aberystwyth from another University, can I use your wireless network?

Only registered users at Aberystwyth can use the University computers.

However Aberystwyth University participates in the Janet Roaming Service which allows visitors from other participating organisations to connect their own computer to the network.

Users from participating organisations can connect via:

• wireless (eduroam) available in any of the University buildings (but not Halls of Residence)
• wired (using 802.1x authentication) in Halls of Residence only

You should make arrangements to use the service with your own institution before arriving in Aberystwyth.
