How do I add a book to an Aspire reading list from a bookseller or publisher website?

If the book you want to add is not on Primo then you can add it from an online retailer like Amazon or Blackwell's

• Visit Amazon and find the book that you want to add
• Select the paperback format even if you would prefer an ebook (the Library cannot buy a Kindle ebook but will check for institutional ebooks)

• Click on the Aspire bookmarklet button or the Talis browser extension icon. 
• This will open a new Aspire page. Check the bibliographic data is correct, if not amend as necessary (How do I do that?).

• Click Save in My Bookmarks.

• If the list you wish to add the resource to shows on the right, click Add to List. If it is not present, type the list into the search bar and it will appear, click Add to List. (You must ensure that the reading list you need has already been assigned to your ‘My Lists’ section (How do I do that?).

• Select the Importance level from the drop-down menu. You can choose the location of the resource on the list using the Select Position on the List drop-down menus. Notes for both the library and students can be added in the Notes section.
• Once the above is complete click Finish.
