How do I save a document on my USB drive?
- Plug in your USB drive
- You will be prompted to encrypt your USB drive (How do I do that?). If you do not encrypt, you will not be able to save files to the drive
- Open File Explorer
- Browse to the location where your file is saved
- Right click the file you want to copy
- Select Send to: from the menu
- Choose your USB drive from this list
- Click Save
- You can also drag and drop your files, or save them directly onto the USB drive
- Before you remove the USB drive, check to make sure your document is there
