Can I connect to the Resources drive from my own computer? (Windows)

To connect to the Resources drive from your own computer you will need to be connected to the University network on campus. If you are off-campus you will have to connect to the Aber VPN. ( How do I do that? )

• Open My Documents/File Explorer
• Right click Computer/This PC from the menu on the left hand side
• Click 'Map network drive'
• In the Drive: box, select a letter from the drop down menu
• In the Folder box, enter \\pau.local\psv\public\resources\departmental 
• If you wish to reconnect to the drive each time you login to your computer, check the 'Reconnect at logon' box
• Click 'Finish'
• Enter your Aberystwyth University email password if prompted
• Open My Documents/File Explorer
• The Resources share will then have successfully mapped.
