How do I record different greetings and set them to be played at certain times and dates? (Unity)
- Login to the Login to the Cisco Personal Communications Assistant
- Select Greetings > View Greetings
- Click on the name of the greeting you would like to change
- Adjust when you would like the greeting to be played
You can have the recording play with no end date/time or until a specific date/time
- To record your new greeting you can upload a sound file, record using your phone or record using your computer
- To upload a file, click Options and then Open file (You need to upload a WAV file)
- To record using your phone make sure the Record option is set to Use Phone
- When you press the record button , you phone will ring
- Pick up and record your message, when you are done, click stop on the page or hang up
- To record using your computer make sure the Record option is set to Use Computer
- Record your message and press stop when you are finished
- To upload a file, click Options and then Open file (You need to upload a WAV file)
- To hear your message, select Use Phone or Use Computer in the Playback option and press Play
- If you are using a different phone to record your greetings select Options and then Playback and Recording
- In the Active Phone Number section select Other Number or URI and enter the number you'd like to use
