How do I switch on my firewall (Windows)?

  • Open the Windows Security Settings menu
    • Click the Start button
    • Open Settings
    • Open Update & Security or Privacy & Security on the left
  • Check that Firewall & network protection is on (it should have a green tick). If action is required, you can click on it to enable your firewall
