How do I update my VPN to use the new service (all devices)?

The vpn service pa-vpn.aber.ac.uk is being replaced by a new service. The address of the new service is gp-vpn.aber.ac.uk

To update your VPN to use the new service, you will need to change the portal address in the GlobalProtect app settings:

• Open the GlobalProtect app as if you were going to connect
• Instead of connecting, click the icon in the top corner with 3 bars
• Open Settings
• Click or tap on pa-vpn.aber.ac.uk and click edit
• Change the address to gp-vpn.aber.ac.uk
• Click Save or Connect depending on your device

The new service uses the same authentication as your email and you will no longer need to use the codes you were previously using for the old portal

If updating the portal doesn't work, you will need to update to the newest version of GlobalProtect by setting it up GlobalProtect VPN again
