What should I do if I receive a phishing or junk email?

If you receive a phishing or junk email to your Aberystwyth University account, you can report it directly to ITS from within Outlook. This allows us to respond immediately to threats, protecting all users.

In Outlook

• From the ribbon at the top choose Report Message
• Select Phishing or Junk as appropriate
  
• Delete the message

In Webmail

• Right-click on the message
• Select Report then Report phishing or Report junk as appropriate
  

In Outlook for mobile

• Click the three dots next to the sender's name
  
• Click Report Message
  
• Select Report as phishing or Report as junk as appropriate
