How do I change the default language on a Panopto folder (Staff)

Login to panopto.aber.ac.uk and find the correct folder

In the upper right-hand corner of the folder select the Settings icon.
 

The Settings module for the folder will open to the Overview tab. Select the Settings tab from the left-hand navigation.

On the Settings tab, select the dropdown menu located under the Content Language section

Choose the relevant language (the system default is English).

After you've selected the language, and exited the Settings module, any video in the folder that has automatic captioning will appear with the ASR captioning language selected.

Note: The ASR language will change for all new sessions that are added to the folder but not for sessions already in the folder or sessions moved from another folder.
