How do I use the read-aloud function in Kortext?

(Please note: not all read-aloud functionality will be available on the Mac app).

• Open the document using the View Online button next to the Aspire list reading.
• Click on Sign in to Kortext at top-right of the screen.

• Sign in or use the Create my account button if you don’t have one. Remember to use a different password to your AU login.

To Read aloud a section of text

• Select the section of text you would like to be read aloud to you, and from the option list which appears, select 'Read aloud':

 

To start Read aloud for the entire page:

• When you are signed in, click on the Study Tools symbol in the top-right corner:

• Then the Read aloud symbol that appears:

• You can choose a narrator and speed setting, then press play in the menu (narrator options in the appropriate language for the document, Welsh or English, will be available):
