How do I edit pages in the Student Hub (Quick Links)? (Staff)
Quick Links (view Microsoft guidance for the Quick Links web part)
- Add a link
- Click on ‘Add links’ at the top of the panel
- In the screen that appears, click on ‘From a link’ in the left panel
- Paste in the link you want to add (full web address including https://)
- Click the Add button on the bottom right
- You will now see the link you have added in the panel on the right
- Update the ‘Title’ box with the text you want to use
- Click on ‘Library’ under ‘Thumbnail’ then click ‘Change’
- Choose an appropriate icon from the icons list
- Click the ‘Select’ button
- Remove a link
- Click on the tile/button
- Click on the ‘Delete’ icon that appears (bin)
- Edit a link
- Click on the tile/button
- Click on the edit icon that appears (pencil)
- The link information will be displayed on the right panel
- If you wish to change the link address, click the ‘Change’ button under the current link address
- If you want to edit the title, change the text in the ‘Title’ box
- If you want to change the icon, click ‘Change’ under the current icon
- It is also possible to change the layout of the quick links section but we recommend keeping the ‘Button’ layout to remain consistent across departmental areas.
