How do I edit pages in the Student Hub (Quick Links)? (Staff)

Quick Links (view Microsoft guidance for the Quick Links web part)

  • Add a link
    • Click on ‘Add links’ at the top of the panel
    • In the screen that appears, click on ‘From a link’ in the left panel
    • Paste in the link you want to add (full web address including https://)
    • Click the Add button on the bottom right
    • You will now see the link you have added in the panel on the right
    • Update the ‘Title’ box with the text you want to use
    • Click on ‘Library’ under ‘Thumbnail’ then click ‘Change’
    • Choose an appropriate icon from the icons list
    • Click the ‘Select’ button
  • Remove a link
    • Click on the tile/button
    • Click on the ‘Delete’ icon that appears (bin)
  • Edit a link
    • Click on the tile/button
    • Click on the edit icon that appears (pencil)
    • The link information will be displayed on the right panel
    • If you wish to change the link address, click the ‘Change’ button under the current link address
    • If you want to edit the title, change the text in the ‘Title’ box
    • If you want to change the icon, click ‘Change’ under the current icon
  • It is also possible to change the layout of the quick links section but we recommend keeping the ‘Button’ layout to remain consistent across departmental areas.
