How to I resolve a Microsoft Office Licence error on a University owned computer?

  • Close all Microsoft Office Programs
  • Open the Company Portal shortcut on your desktop:
  • Use the search box to find Office Uninstall and click on it to open
  • Click the Install (or Reinstall if it says this instead) button and wait for it to finish
  • Use the search box in Company Portal again to find Microsoft Office 365 and click on it to open
  • Click the Install (or Reinstall if it says this instead) button and wait for it to finish
  • Once the installation is complete, try re-opening your Microsoft Office programs and they should be licenced correctly
  • If your Microsoft Office still isn't working, please contact Information Services
