How do I merge modules in Blackboard (staff)?
From myadmin.aber.ac.uk go to Blackboard Ultra Module Partners
You’ll see a list of Potential Relationships as well as any existing merged modules set up.
Click on the Merge icon next to the module you want to set as primary
You’ll then see a list of modules that you can set as secondary modules.
Select the module or modules you want to set as secondary modules, and click the right arrow to add the secondary into the right-hand column
The modules will be merged in Blackboard within the next hour.
If you have linked the wrong modules, you can delete the relationship. However, we don’t recommend unlinking modules as standard practice, as it can mean that students lose access to materials.
When modules are unlinked, previous submissions, marks etc are retained for students on the module. They will be hidden from staff (to avoid confusion), but if you need to view them contact elearning@aber.ac.uk for advice
Under Existing Relationships, click the pencil icon
Click Delete > Delete
