What is the Blackboard Online Exams permissions set up?

Blackboard Tests are used for our Blackboard Online Exams.

To help protect assessment integrity, a permission set is created in online exam rooms.

This permission set consists of a list of approved sites which students can access. Students cannot access sites that are not included in the permission set.

The exam permission set is:

• Enabled between 09:00 and 17:30 during the examinations period
• Applies to all computers in the computer room
• Applies to all students (regardless as to whether they have an online exam or not)

As part of the outreach with Module Co-ordinators, we ask for a list of sites that students need to be able to access for the exam.
