Can we have an email address for our Student Union club or society?

Clubs and Societies affiliated to the Student Union can have an AU mailbox for email and using booking facilities at the sports centre.

Applying for a club/society email address

• The Club/Society President must contact the Student Union Sports Co-ordinator (Who is this?) requesting a new mailbox or access to an existing mailbox.
• For new mailboxes, the SU Sports Co-ordinator will contact Information Services requesting the mailbox be created
• For existing mailboxes the SU Sports Co-ordinator will add users to the mailbox following these instructions
• Automated emails are sent when mailboxes are created and when users are given permission to access them. These emails provide instructions for accessing the mailbox.

Using a club/society address

• In using this mailbox you are bound by Information Services Rules and Regulations
• If you need other members of the club/society to have access to the mailbox you must ask the Student Union Sports Co-ordinar to to add their username to the mailbox. Only Aberystwyth University staff and students may be given access to this mailbox.
