How do I find a book in Primo?

• Visit Primo and Sign in

• In the search box enter one or two key words from the title and the surname of the author

e.g. for Modern German literature by Michael Minden, type: minden german

• Press Enter or click

When the search results appear

• You can choose to click Books in the Tweak my results menu on the left to display just results for books (for just e-book results, click Electronic Books in the Collection menu)

 

• Check that the search result matches the details of the book you are looking for i.e. the author, title and year of publication is correct.

• Check if you have found a print book, an e-book, or both ( How do I do that? )

• If you have found a print book find out where it is located in the library ( How do I do that? )

• You can refine your search results further to make it easier to find relevant material ( How do I do that? )

• You can store your results for future reference ( How do I do that? )
