How do I check my email through my email handler? (Apple Mail)

  • Open the Mail program
  • If the account set up window hasn't opened - click File and then Add Account
  • Select Exchange as the account type
  • Type in your name as you want it to appear in the From field, followed by your full AU email address and your AU password
  • Click Sign in 
  • You will then be prompted to sign in using Office 365
  • You will also need to confirm your identity using multi factor authentication
  • In older versions of Mac OS you may need to enter some connection details
  • In the dialog box enter the follow details:
    • Account type: Exchange
    • Incoming Mail Server:
    • Your Aber username and password


  • Click Continue
