How do I record an assessment in Blackboard? (Staff)

To record an assessment or exam in Blackboard, first create a Panopto assessment folder for the module, see faq 2516, and then:

• Log into Blackboard, Where do I do that?, go to the relevant module, and select:
• Tools and Panopto Content

• Click into the folder for the assessment, i.e., Final Performance:

• Select Create and Record a new session 
  

You will be taken to a Panopto recording screen:

• Check that the settings are correct:
• Audio: check that at least two of the audio bars are highlighted.  Move the slider to increase the level of the recordings.
• Press Record and minmise the recorder
• You can Pause the recording if needed.  When you have finished recording, click Stop.
• The system will then autoimatically start uploading the recording to the server.  Once this has been completed you will be sent an email.
