How do I change or remove a Vevox Session after I have added it to Teams?
How to Change a Vevox Session in Teams
To change a Vevox Session after having added it to Teams (How do I do that?), navigate to the relevant Teams meeting chat through the Chat tab on the left-hand side in Teams. Across the top, you will see all applications added to this Teams meeting.
Depending on how many applications are active, you may need to open the drop down menu using the downward arrow next to “[number] more”. Click on Vevox. The Vevox tab should appear now along the top bar:
Right click on Vevox, then click on Settings. You will be prompted to enter a Session ID. Enter the Session ID of the Vevox Session you want to actually add to Teams. Please note: your Session must be active in order to be able to add it to Teams. (How do I do that?)
Once your Session ID has been automatically confirmed as valid, click Save. You have now changed your integrated Vevox Session within Teams.
How to Remove a Vevox Session in Teams
To change a Vevox Session after having added it to Teams (How do I do that?), navigate to the relevant Teams meeting chat through the Chat tab on the left-hand side in Teams.
If you cannot find the chat, go to your Teams calendar, double click on the relevant meeting, then click on Chat along the top. Send a simple message, e.g. “Remove Vevox”. You can delete this later by clicking on the three dots to the right of the message and selecting Delete.
Once you have found the meeting chat through the Chat tab on the left, click on it. You will now see your meeting chat. Across the top, you will see all applications added to this Teams meeting.
Depending on how many applications are active, you may need to open the drop-down menu using the downward arrow next to “[number] more”. Click on Vevox. The Vevox tab should now appear along the top bar:
If you have accidentally added more than one Vevox Session, they will appear named as “Vevox”, “Vevox (1)”, and so on. Determine which Vevox tab you want to remove from Teams by clicking on each in turn, if you do not want to remove all of them.
Right click on the Vevox tab you wish to remove, then click on Remove in the drop-down menu. A pop-up will ask you to confirm that you want to remove the tab. Click Remove to permanently remove the tab from your Teams meeting.
